A healthy skin barrier depends on lipids to hold water within the skin and protect it from the outside environment. When these lipids are depleted, moisture escapes more easily, leaving skin increasingly dry and difficult to keep hydrated.
Grass-fed beef tallow makes up 80% of Spring Revival and provides a rich source of fatty acids including oleic, palmitic and stearic acids. Applied to the skin, these lipids soften dry surface cells and form a protective layer that helps reduce transepidermal water loss.

Spring Revival combines tallow with avocado, apricot kernel, green tea seed and blueberry seed oils to create a broader fatty acid profile than tallow alone.

Apricot kernel oil provides oleic and linoleic acids. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid involved in normal skin barrier function and helps support soft, supple skin.

Blueberry seed oil contributes linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, bringing omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids into the formula.

Avocado oil is naturally rich in oleic acid and provides deeply conditioning lipids that help soften rough, depleted skin.

Together, these oils give the skin a diverse mixture of lipids to condition, soften and support the barrier as it recovers from winter dryness.

Our 100% tallow formulas - like Pure Tallow Glow and Vanilla Infused Tallow - are dense and firm by nature. These recipes contain no carrier oils or additives, which means the texture is harder but melts directly into the skin on contact.

If you prefer a softer, more spreadable consistency, our balms made with added carrier oils (like Radiant Repair and Balancing Beauty) are whipped to be lighter, silkier, and easier to apply.
